Introducing the Halda Space Race Polonia – limited to one piece only
Halda Watch Co has created a special edition, a hybrid between the Space Discovery and the Race module. The watch is a homage to the only Polish astronaut, Mr Miroslaw Hermaszewski, who in 1978 became the first Polish person to go into space. It is called the Halda Space Race Polonia and it’s the only unit on the planet, impossible to recreate.
Based on the Halda Concept, the watch consists of a Race Pilot digital module with advanced functions for racing such as a lap timer measuring speed as well as an extended catalogue of race tracks.
And, the Space Discovery’s mechanical module with a high-beat vintage movement from the 1970s, refurbished by the famous watchmaker Mr Svend Andersén, Geneva.
Two straps are included – a steel bracelet and a Velcro strap with the Polish flag and the number 1978. On top of this as a friendly wink to Mr Hermaszewski, it also comes with an original badge from the mission and a signed mission card.
